The 2009 Group Leisure Awards took place on 23rd September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel and rewarded winners across 21 categories, as voted for by readers of Group Leisure magazine and groupleisure.com. 350 guests enjoyed dinner, a fantastic comedy set from Rod Woodward and a special performance from Ryan Molloy, who plays the lead role of Frankie Valli in West End musical, Jersey Boys.

The ceremony followed, presented by Group Leisure managing editor & publisher, Rob Yandell and special guest, Tina Hobley, best known for her role as feisty ward sister, Chrissie in BBC1 hit series, Holby City.
