The annual Meat Management Awards sets an established benchmark for recognising excellence throughout the meat industry, not just in one narrow sector. Included is the prestigious ‘Excellence Award’ recognising an individuals contribution to the industry. The Awards promotion is scheduled over a full 9 - month period and includes the popular Awards presentation dinner – itself an important black tie networking event. In 2013 the dinner took place at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham and welcomed 420 guests.
The Awards are supported by many of the major players in the market and the Awards dinner is a highlight in the meat industry calendar. On June 4th 2014 we welcome Sir Geoff Hurst, to the Awards dinner at London’s prestigious Grand Connaught Rooms. England world cup winner in 1966, Sir Geoff is a much sought after speaker and scored the famous hat trick against Germany at the world cup final in Wembley Stadium.
