Adverts supplied as open files:
Software must be InDesign CS1 to 3, llustrator 9.0 or above, or Photoshop 7.0 or above, including all images and fonts.

We do not accept Microsoft word or Powerpoint documents.
Please ensure when using white text on solid backgrounds that the trapping mode is set to KNOCKOUT. We will not take responsibility for text dropping out if this is not done.

All text should be set to paths if working in Illustrator/Photoshop

All pictures must be high resolution 300dpi, otherwise quality cannot be guaranteed.

All pictures and colour files should be CMYK format. We do not accept responsibility for any pictures or materials in RGB format.

On full page adverts, please ensure that all important information is set to a minimum of 12mm from the margin to prevent it from getting lost in the spine.

Any material supplied requiring adjustment will be subject to an extra charge.

Delivery:
Email is the preferred method of delivery for advertising material: production@yandellmedia.com. The maximum file size we will accept is currently 10MB.
We have an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) service for the sending of large files (over 10MB and up to 2GB). This can be accessed at www.mailbigfile.com/yandell; attach your file, enter your email address, any message and click send. A notification of your completed upload will be sent to Yandell Publishing. Please ensure you don't leave the FTP web page when sending your file.
Apple mac compatible CD’s will also be accepted providing they are clearly marked. A colour match should be included and disks requiring returning must be accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope. We do not accept adverts via ISDN and do not accept separate film, or artwork bromides.

Deadlines
Copy must be received by the 1st of the month prior to the month of publication.

ADVERTISING PROOFS WILL NOT BE SENT UNLESS REQUESTED.
