Terms and Conditions for stand bookings and sponsorships
Bookings
i) All bookings must be confirmed by returning the ‘Exhibitor booking’ form with deposit payment. Cheques to be made payable to Yandell Publishing Ltd. All bookings must have the correct booking fee enclosed. Your booking form is confirmation of your attendance and Yandell Publishing Ltd will send you further information on the show regarding show preparations once the Exhibitor booking form is received.
ii) Stand reservations last for 7 working days in which payment and booking form must be received by Yandell Publishing Ltd. If payment and form is not received by Yandell Publishing Ltd within 7 working days the stand will be re-sold. Yandell Publishing Ltd reserves the right to refuse bookings without explanation.
iii) Cancellations that are received after 27th February 2009 will forfeit all monies due. Cancellations prior to 27th February 2009 will, IF the stand is re-sold, receive a net refund 75% of monies due. In the event that the stand is not re-sold within 60 days of cancellation no refund will be due.
Exhibition space/stand
i) Stand/space is let to the exhibitor and must not be sub-let to any other party.
ii) The shell stand includes full shell scheme and carpet. None of the shell scheme panels are to be moved. Items should be attached to the panels with Velcro. All stands are shell schemes unless otherwise agreed with the organisers.
iii) Exhibitors must ensure that their stock and display equipment does not extend beyond the space that they have booked.
iv) Exhibitors are responsible for setting up and dismantling their own stock and displays.
v) Yandell Publishing Ltd reserves the right to relocate the exhibitor if in unforeseen circumstances relocation is deemed necessary in the best interests of the exhibition.
vi) Exhibitors must only use the power points provided by the stand contractor (if ordered) and must only use it for the purpose detailed on the booking form. If the power supply is used incorrectly you will be liable for any charges incurred.
vii) Exhibitors are responsible for any damage they cause to equipment hired to them by Yandell Publishing Ltd, or damage they cause to equipment and/or furnishings, on fixtures and fittings belonging to the venue.
viii) Yandell Publishing Ltd is not liable for any errors or omissions in promotional material.
Show times – build and breakdown
The show times are:
Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday: 11am – 5pm
Set up times are:
Friday: 8am – 8pm
i) If you are planning on bringing in heavy items or stock within these times, please inform Yandell Publishing Ltd as there may be certain health and safety restrictions imposed by thecentre:mk due to the public being in the venue.

ii) Exhibitors must ensure that all displays are set up and made ready 30 minutes before the start of the show. Exhibitors arriving less than 30 minutes before the start of the show may be refused entry to minimise disruption. In this event no money can be refunded and no claim can be made against Yandell Publishing Ltd or any other third party.
iii) No stand can be dismantled until 5.30pm on the Sunday. This is due to health and safety restrictions applied by thecentre:mk to protect members of the public who are shopping in the centre. This will be strictly enforced and there can be no exceptions to this rule. Please ensure that you complete the ‘Undressing your stand’ form.
iv) Outside of the show times detailed above, Yandell Publishing Ltd will employ security to survey exhibitors items between the times when thecentre:mk opens and the shows begins and from when the show ends and thecentre:mk closes. Yandell Publishing Ltd is not liable for any stock, display items or valuables that are lost during these times or at any time during the open, pre-build or break down periods. Exhibitors should take reasonable steps to secure their stand at the end of the day, by covering with a cloth, removing valuable items, removing cash etc,
Insurance and Indemnity
i) Yandell Publishing Ltd does not provide any insurance for exhibitors to cover public liability, cancellation and damage or loss to any direct or indirect cost, profit, equipment, stock or anything else business or personal whatsoever.
ii) Yandell Publishing Ltd cannot be held responsible for the safety of stock or persons or money whilst the exhibitor is travelling to or from the event or during the event itself including pre-build and breakdown periods.
iii) Exhibitors are advised to obtain insurance to cover all risk that may occur during the show. There will be no claim against Yandell Publishing Ltd whatsoever in any circumstances. An official insurance supplier will offer insurance and a link will be provided in the on-line exhibitor manual.
Liability
i) In the event of the cancellation, abandonment, limitation or postponement of any event organised by Yandell Publishing Ltd, including interruption or cessation of power supply, there will be no claim against Yandell Publishing Ltd or any other third party, including the venue and/or official suppliers to the exhibition.
ii) Yandell Publishing Ltd cannot be held responsible for the loss of earnings or expense as a result of any of the circumstances mentioned in statement i) of this section or due to poor weather conditions, non appearance of scheduled advertising, removal of advertised signage or any other reason whatsoever beyond our control.
Safety
i) Exhibitors must ensure that all stands, stock, equipment etc are safe and of no risk whatsoever to visitors or staff. Yandell Publishing Ltd reserves the right to dismantle stands, which do not comply with these regulations.
ii) All Yandell Publishing Ltd events are non smoking.
